I use a bike lift table and then a simple car scissor jack with a welded plate on top the a piece of ply between that and the sump. I also use a sling and a chain block to lift the front for front end work.

BTW, a quick question here, are there any Motorcycle backpacks that offer water tanks? I checked the Viking bags (Link and some of the RevZilla (Link but could not find any backpacks with water bottles/tanks.
